Berkeley Kite Festival, 2014

I suspected that the Kite Festival would be a visual feast, and I was right. The Octopus kites floated over the entire event, dominating the sky. I relied on colorful aquarelle pencils over a rough ink sketch. Water color effects were applied with a special brush that has a water reservoir in the barrel.
